Heater Jacket
Heating jackets are essential for environments where humidity control is required to stabilise the temperature of the filter cartridges used in venting applications, or where a constant head is required to safeguard the process fluid from damage.
There are many industries where heating jackets are required, such as fine chemical, pharmaceutical, or chemical production. They are generally seen as a method to offer process fluid stabilisation or system protection.
In pure water systems, typically Water For Injection (WFI) and High Purity Water (HPW), the free venting of clean air between the inside and outside of storage tanks must be allowed to move freely without the potential build-up of condensation. Heating jackets are crucial for this and are also used to avoid mold or microbial growth that can often be associated with wet filters.
