Filterability Index Unit (automated)
This ground-breaking system can automatically calculate the filterability index of a liquid, accurately simulating the passage of a liquid through a filter under pressure.
The apparatus generates data that save both time and money for a packaging facility, by identifying samples that are likely to present filtration problems during packaging. By quantifying the extent of likely fouling of the filters, the unit allows the packager to pre-filter the sample before it gets into the packaging run, saving time and money for both the packaging facility and the customer.
The machine is robust, simple, and intuitive to use, and provides accurate and repeatable results. A semi-automated system, it includes software that collects data in real-time during the analysis and calculates two filterability indexes on completion. A report is generated for every sample.
