Enological benefits:
- Tan&Sense® Forte is a high-quality ellagitannin used to bolster wines’ structure, improve their length, and enhance the intensity of the end palate.
- Can be used on white, rosé, or red wines, particularly those fermented or matured in barrel (synergy with oak ellagitannins).
- At the beginning of maturation, it helps to balance wines and manage their redox potential.
Product Applications
Instantly soluble, Tan&Sense® Forte is ready to use. Dissolve in 10 times its weight in water. Add into the tank during a pump-over or during a transfer in order to achieve perfect homogenisation. It can be used during ageing or a few weeks before bottling.
Dosage:
- Red wines: 1 to 10 g/hL
- Rosé and white wines: 0.5 to 3 g/hL
The dosage of tannins depends on each type of wine and winemaking imperatives to be achieved. Take advice from your oenologist in order to comply with the oenological codex (OIV).
