Blue H2O Filtration (BHF) are actively monitoring the ever evolving COVID-19 situation and are taking steps on a daily basis to ensure safety of our staff, communities, and aiming for continual supply chain to our customers. The situation is very fluid, and while it is business as usual at this stage, this could change at a moment’s notice pending government and health department advice.
BHF stock a large number of filters on our shelves in warehouses throughout Australia and in New Zealand. The majority of our international freight utilises sea freight, via a number of ports around the world. At this stage, the advice provided to us is that sea freight will continue with only some small delays expected due to port closures and re-routing. Airfreight however has already been affected and will most likely continue to be delayed, as the number of international flights reduces. As the situation is constantly unfolding, there is the possibility that overseas manufacturing staff may be forced into lockdown, therefore reducing the responsiveness to unforeseen or urgent filter orders. Likewise, this may also occur in Australia.
Due to the unfolding nature of the pandemic, BHF strongly urges all customers to make contact with their Account Manager to provide forward orders where possible. If this cannot be achieved, then providing a forecast for the next 3-6 months filter usage will help, however stock availability may not be guaranteed. Despite these challenging times, we remain committed to maintaining an excellent level of customer service, support and supply responsiveness.
