Paul has been with Blue H2O since January 2011. Prior to this he was Technical Manager for Laffort Australasia, and Lecturer in Oenology at both University of Adelaide and Charles Sturt University. Beginning his education in the field with a double degree in Chemistry, Paul went on to complete a PhD at University of New South Wales.
As the BHF Group Oenologist, he works directly with winemakers from all over Australia to help improve wine quality and problem solve. He is passionate about connecting the wine industry and academia, about new product development and quality improvement. He enjoys meeting wine industry professionals from all over the world, and is often invited to give presentations by various industry groups both in Australia and overseas. Paul envisions Blue H2O becoming a large organisation servicing a range of industries, not least of which will be the wine industry.
